Carol remains very active in her continuing service to Golf, teaching at the Woodlands Country Club outside of Houston in Woodlands, Texas as she gives the Gift of Golf to golfers of all skill levels. She is president of both Carol Mann, Inc. and Carol Mann Golf Services.

Listening to Carol talk about two events in her life that set the stage for the character and integrity that is so much a part of who she is, the LPGA's challenges during her career and her presidency and finally her take on the differences between men and women when it comes to the golf swing is facinating and thought provoking in that order.

Golfers of all ages and skill levels will throughly enjoy our chat with Carol Mann, golf legend, woman of conviction, courage and vision.

China hosts Rory and Tiger in an Exhibition that Paid Both VERY Well

You may or may not of heard about the made for TV match between TW and Rory McIlroy in China earlier this week. I thought I'd post a piece I wrote for a website you might enjoy.

There's little doubt that China is making a move into the sport of Golf with both their development of courses and the amount of money they are willing to pay to attract the elite in the sport.

Henrik Stenson's Swing and the Wisdom of Coach Cowen May be the Best Swing Wisdom You Hear

Peter Murphy, international teacher and Haney veteran Director of Instruction, and Gary Cordoza, Director of Instruction for Joe and Leighs Golf Performance Center, chat with me in what may be our best Podcast in 5 years. (They just keep getting better!)

Murphy knows Stenson's coach Pete Cowan who is one of the most prolific coaches when it comes to working with international tour players like, (in addition to Henrik), Graeme McDowell, Louis Oosthuizen and Padrig Harrington to name a few.

In addition to Stenson's swing, we chat about Cowen's role in the success of this 2013 FedEx Cup Champion and about some of Pete's swing advice and very telling observations about the (golf) swing.

So, if you have tried, to no avail, everything to improve your swing and game, this just may be your Holy Graile of golf swing insights. Beginner to aspiring Tour Player, this is one Podcast you need to hear.

Note: Ending our 5th regular season, we are putting together our Holiday shows. PLUS: We are putting the finishing touches on our Lesson Tee App to be available soon, so stay tuned.

Good Golfing!

What Can You Learn From Your Feet: A Chat With Director of Instruction Gary Cordoza Plus a Challenge

Gary Cordoza, Director of Instruction at the Joe and Leighs Golf Performance Center and I chat about my fixation with watching Tour Player's footwork and what golfers can learn.

This interview on the Lesson Tee Radio/Internet Show was done shortly after I had spent the week on the practice range at TPC Boston during the Deutsche Bank Championship.

This Podcast can be of value to literally every level of player. It also puts forth a challenge that Gary and I will discuss more in depth after the PlayOffs end in a couple of weeks. Listen to the challenge then watch the remaining FedEx PlayOffs and you might find yourself learning quite a lot as you watch those slow motion swings. Remember to pay close attention to the footwork.

Join us each Wednesday on The Lesson Tee Show 10-11am ET. Simply follow the link THEN click on the flashing ON AIR button.

We'll 'see' you on the TEE.

Cheers!

A MUST Listen: Jeff O'Neil, Expert Club Fitter, on Why Club Fitting is More Improtant Than Ever

Jeff O'Neil, expert club fitter and launch monitor specialist with Joe and Leighs Companies, is one of our most popular guest on The Lesson Tee Show. His expetiese can help make the difference when it comes to your next golf club purchase.

This is one of the best times of the year to buy clubs as companies work to clear inventories in preperation for launching new products. Clubs within 1-2 years of the latest models are just as effective while being much less expensive.

Most golfer's clubs are between 3-5 years old and technology of both clubs, shafts and balls has changed to the point that simply buying a set of clubs off the rack can be the worst decision a player can make.

Before you make that purchase of new clubs, I strongly suggest you take a few minutes and let Jeff O'Neil's expert knowledge help you and your golf game.

Don't forget to listen to The Lesson Tee Radio/Internet Show Wednesday 10-11am ET. Simply click this link then again on the flashing ON AIR button of the WNRI 1380AM Talk/Radio website's homepage.

Good Golfing and we will 'see' you on the TEE!

The Deutsche Bank Championship is the 2nd leg of the PGA TOUR's Fed Ex Playoffs.

The event is held August 30-September 2nd at TPC Boston and features the top 100 PGA TOUR players as the Fed Ex Play Offs is an elimination series of tournaments culminating with the Tour Championship September 19-22 at the famed East Lake GC in Atlanta.  The remaining 40 TOUR players will compete for the $1,440,000 winner's share of the $8 million purse.  Also, the player with the most FedEx points at the end of the Tour Championship will win the $10 million winning check as the FedEx Champion for the 2013 PGA TOUR season.  To say there's a lot on the line would be a mild understatement because if the winner of the Tour Championship also happens to have the most FedEx points, their total take from the Tour Championship will be a cool $11,440,000.
